Katharine McPhee definitely wants more of this.

The American Idol alum—who has been married to music producer David Foster since 2019—remains nothing but supportive of his daughters Sara Foster and Erin Foster, praising the latter for creating the hit Netflix series, Nobody Wants This.

"I loved it," Katharine exclusively told E! News at the 2024 CMA Awards at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville Nov. 20. "I've been so excited for Sara and Erin."

She added, "Erin creating the show and having her name all over the titles of the show, it's been incredible to see them have so much success."

And the 40-year-old is proud that Erin, 42, will get to keep the Kristen Bell and Adam Brody-led series going with season two, which was confirmed in October.

And family was top of mind for Katharine, who also gave insight into life with her and David's 3-year-old son Rennie, who has recently found a new obsession: "He is into everything superhero."

But luckily for the Smash star, he's also a mama's boy at heart.

"He's obsessed with his mom," she gushed, "which I'll take."

Overall it was an exciting night for Katharine, who is presenting during the ceremony, hosted by Luke BryanPeyton Manning and Lainey Wilson. And she came ready to make her mark on the red carpet, wearing a black pants suit paired with a black scarf and complimented by a pair of emerald and diamond earrings.

Plus, she gets the added bonus of seeing some of her favorite country singers like Kacey MusgravesTeddy Swims and Post Malone.

"I saw [Post] in rehearsal," she shared, "he sounds incredible. There are so many great artists performing tonight."

And it looks to be a big night for Post, a first time nominee who nabbed four nominations alongside Morgan Wallen for their single "I Had Some Help," including Single of the Year and Song of the Year.
