Tallulah Willis is sharing an honest message about her dad Bruce Willis.
The 30-year-old—who has been candid about her family’s journey through Bruce’s battle with frontotemporal dementia—recently shared another peek into her loving relationship with her father.
“I love this guy so much and feeling feelings is tough stuff,” Tallulah wrote in a Sept. 30 Instagram post alongside pictures with Bruce. “But I’m so grateful to let them flow through me now instead of disconnecting from it!”
In the post, Tallulah—whose blended family also includes mom Demi Moore, 61, sisters Rumer Willis, 36, and Scout Willis, 33, as well as stepmom Emma Heming Willis, 46, and youngest sisters Mabel Willis, 12, and Evelyn Willis, 10—included snaps of her and Bruce “from the forever archives.”
In one photo, Tallulah stands in front of her father, their hands clasped on her shoulders, while Bruce kisses the top of her head. In another, the pair sit together at a meal while holding hands and smiling at the camera. In a final snap, Tallulah flips through a scrapbook of Bruce’s magazine features while her dad sits on the arm of the couch, smiling at his daughter.
And Tallulah’s followers appreciated her message, with one commenting, “That’s great to learn this young!! I’m trying to learn this much older… many walls to tear down.”
Selma Blair also wrote, “You are loving your beloved,” while Meadow Walker, daughter of late actor Paul Walker, commented, “Purest love.”
Tallulah’s Instagram post comes nearly two weeks after she gave an update on her dad’s health.
“He’s doing stable, which in this situation is good, and it’s hard,” she said during a Sept. 18 appearance on the Today show. “There’s painful days, but there’s so much love. And it’s really shown me to not take any moment for granted.”
And Tallulah believes that she and Bruce would have been even closer if they would have had more time outside of his dementia, adding, “I really do think that we’d be best friends. I think he’s very proud of me.”
