Joe Jonas is a sucker for some fan love.
After all, the Jonas Brothers member couldn't help but respond to a fan revealing her long-term plan to make him fall in love with her.
"My most delulu moment is that I'm in love with Joe Jonas, but I don't follow him in any social media because I'm waiting for the day I meet him," the fan wrote on her Oct. 1 TikTok, "he falls in love with me and I can pretend I barely knew who he was, so we can follow each other once we're already dating, because i'm just an ordinary girl."
Unfortunately, Joe seemingly foiled it, commenting, "Does this plan still work if he sees this?"
Other fans commended her for the bold post, with one commenting, "Dang, she SHOT her shot." While another wrote, "That's like master manifesting girl."
The 35-year-old's cheeky comment comes nearly a month after he and ex-wife Sophie Turner finalized their divorce.
Joe filed paperwork in Sept. 2023 to end his four-year marriage to the Game of Thrones alum, stating in court documents obtained by E! News at the time that their relationship was “irretrievably broken.” After months of legal battles, including custody of their daughters Willa, 3, and Delphine, 2, the couple reached a custody agreement.
And as their divorce played out, Joe noted that their breakup influenced his newest album Music for People Who Believe in Love.
"I was going through a lot of life changes," he told Billboard in August, "finding out who I was as a person and father and friend, and living under the microscope of what the music industry can be. And I think, at such a crazy time in my life, I looked to music as an outlet."
But the DNCE frontman emphasized that it wasn't meant to take aim at Sophie, either.
"I'm not trying to come for anyone on this album. I'm not trying to put stuff on blast," he explained. "I have a beautiful life that I'm grateful for. I've got two beautiful kids. I'm a happy person, and the music needed to resemble that—but also, the journey to get here."
And as tensions between Joe and Sophie cooled, the 28-year-old noted that they were both motivated to make their co-parenting relationship work for the sake of their little ones.
"I think we're doing the best we can," Sophie told British Vogue in May. "I'm confident that we can figure it out. Joe is a great father to our children and that's all that I can ask for."
