Brie Larson could teach lessons in picking adorable pooches.

After the Captain Marvel star shared she adopted a pup last year, she has expanded her family by one more.

“Proud to announce there’s a new *star* in my life,” Brie wrote in an Oct. 23 Instagram post. “Meet Raffle. The latest addition to my crew and Six Thirty’s best friend on earth. Thank you @pupculturerescue for letting me adopt the most perfect dog I could ever ask for.”

And the 35-year-old shared that Raffle has already made herself right at home alongside her other pet.

“This girl is snuggly, tough, insanely funny and all woman!!” Brie continued, adding that Raffle and Six-Thirty are already perfect playmates. “Watching them play together every day brings me more joy than I ever thought possible. Welcome home Raffle Girl!”

Brie previously opened up on becoming a dog mom shortly after her first adoption in 2023.

“He’s so cute,” Brie gushed to Jimmy Fallon last year on The Tonight Show of her first dog. “His name is Six-Thirty. I did not pick his name. He picked it, I just don’t have the heart to tell him that it’s just totally absurd and inappropriate.”

The Lessons in Chemistry actress went on to share how her dog was able to choose his own name.

“He’s a rescue,” she explained. “He was very shy when I first got him. We were trying all kinds of different names—my friends were throwing out every name under the sun. And my best friend—who is the food consultant on Lessons in Chemistry—she saw him and was like, ‘Oh my gosh, he’s Six-Thirty’ and he looked up. And I was like, ‘That’s strange, no.’ And then we said it again and I still didn’t believe it—and he just only responded to Six-Thirty.”

And while Brie eventually settled on the unusual name, she admitted she had resisted.

“I tried everything,” she emphasized. “I had four days where I was calling him Dog, I was calling him Jeremy, Jimmy, David. I would open the pantry and be like, ‘Are you flour? Are you salt? Are you black pepper?’ I don’t know.”

Brie may not have chosen the name, but she expressed that she just wants Six-Thirty to be his most authentic self.

As she put it, “Please just respect him when you see him.”
