Heather McMahan can definitely find the humor in her unconventional living situation.
The comedian hilariously revealed what it's really like having her mother Robin McMahan living under the same roof as her and husband of four years Jeff Daniels.
"Somebody said, 'What's the wildest place you've ever made love?'" McMahan exclusively told E! News' Francesca Amiker. "I'm like, 'Currently where I make love. In my own home because my mom's down the hall!' I'm like, 'She's here, I can feel her presence.'"
While it might be a little awkward for McMahan when she and Daniels are in the bedroom, her mom has no problem offering her 37-year-old daughter sex advice.
As McMahan shared, "She's always like, 'Jeffrey would be in a better mood if you if you did more forearm.' Wink, wink."
All jokes aside, the Love Hard actress revealed the sweet bond her mother has with Daniels.
"My husband can do no wrong," she noted. "She worships the ground he walks on. It will always be my fault. It is so funny, the family dynamic."
And while McMahan loves having her mom in her Atlanta house, she did admit there is one downside: The lack of privacy.
"I still get treated like I'm a 13-year-old," she quipped. "My mom puts all of my mail in a basket outside my room."
As for the secret to her 14-year relationship with Daniels?
"Go on the road," McMahan bluntly stated. "A little absence makes the heart grow fonder. Because I tour so much and he's so independent, when we come together we still like each other. That's it. Just get out, go on a trip with the girls."
Fans can hear more LOL-worthy anecdotes about McMahan's home life during her new Hulu comedy special Breadwinner—plus how Jeff feels about her skyrocketing career.
"A lot of material for this special is about my first year of marriage and what I learned and this over-the-top wedding that I had," she explained. "So it was about how I made all these mistakes, but I did this because I'm in this empowered position now that I make more money than my husband. It's nice for the girls to finally be able to tip our hat to each other and be like, 'Yeah, I'm making more money.' And I have also created a monster."
Noting that Daniels is "so supportive," McMahan revealed he's actually enjoying not having to work so hard these days in the wake of her success.
"There are moments where I'm like, 'He's spending every waking moment on the golf course," she added. "'He's just really milking this for all it's worth.' I had to poke fun at that."
