Nicole Kidman's love for Keith Urban is no big little lie.
So when the country star performed at the Concert For Carolina benefit to help those affected by Hurricane Helene on his 57th birthday, the Oscar winner took the stage herself to lead a special tribute to her husband.
"I do want to say it's his birthday tonight," Kidman, matching her husband in an all-black outfit, told the audience at the show at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte Oct. 26. "And he wanted to be here with you. So here we go."
The Moulin Rouge! star then brought up country singer Eric Church, who led the crowd in a rendition of "Happy Birthday."
Kidman attended the event wearing a cropped black denim jacket and matching jeans, while Urban sported a similar all-black ensemble, including a leather jacket, a printed T-shirt and dark pants. The actress joined her husband backstage, where they looked cozy as they posed for photos.
Kidman, 57, has often proven she’s Urban’s No. 1 fan, often appearing at his concerts and has even appeared with him onstage. In 2022, she made a surprise appearance during his show at The Colosseum in Caesars Palace in Las Vegas where they had some sweet banter.
"What's your name?" Urban joked to her at the time. "Where are you from?"
The Big Little Lies star then introduced herself as "Nicole Urban" and noted that she was there to retrieve his jacket from the stage floor.
Kidman and Urban—who share daughters Sunday, 16, and Faith, 13—have also performed together, both on and offstage. She contributed background vocals for his 2017 single "Female." In 2018, the couple performed Urban's song "Parallel Line" together at a small Spotify Fans First show in Nashville.
Although she has showcased her musical talent in Moulin Rouge! as well as recording the Frank Sinatra and Nancy Sinatra duet "Somethin' Stupid" with her and Robbie Williams, she hasn’t quite made the leap into a career as a recording artist.
And Urban may just be willing to help her get there as he teased the possibility of collaborating earlier this year.
"Sure," he told E! News at the 2024 CMT Music Awards in April. "We sing around the house a lot, so why not?"
