Channing Tatum is focusing on the future.

After the Magic Mike star and Zoë Kravitz called it quits, he was spotted out in North Carolina, where he's currently filming a new movie.

Donning a pair of dark blue shorts and a T-shirt, Channing was seen walking around outside on the phone Oct. 30, per the Daily Mail.

While in North Carolina, he's reportedly working on the true crime film Roofman about a man who is accused of robbing 60 McDonald’s restaurants by breaking in through the roof, according to Deadline. He's been on set for several days, also appearing Oct. 24 in a striped button-down and distressed denim trousers while working on the heist-inspired movie.

Meanwhile, Zoë, 35, made her first appearance since the couple called off their engagement, spending a day out in New York City Oct. 30. She opted to take a stroll in dark blue jeans and a long dark coat, worn over a white shirt.

And although Channing and the High Fidelity actress have ended their engagement, they will continue to work together, as they are both set to star in the upcoming comedy Alpha Gang.

Hours after news of their relationship update, Channing reshared Dave Bautista's post about the movie, which follows a group of alien invaders who are sent to conquer Earth, per the Deadline article he reshared.

The couple, who debuted their engagement last October, had always emphasized the role filmmaking held in their relationship. And despite their breakup, it's a task they're still taking on in the upcoming project.

"Making art is our love language," the Batman actress previously told E! News in August. "We hope to continue doing it."

In fact, they most recently worked together on Zoë's directorial debut Blink Twice, which she revealed pulled both of them out of their comfort zones

"I approached him knowing he was the right person and just hoping that he would do it," she explained. "He was asking me, 'Why do you think I should play this role?' He said, 'No one really asks me to play roles like this.' And I said, 'That's exactly why I'm doing it.'"

For Channing's part, he was simply in awe of Zoë's work on the psychological thriller.

"I don't really make any creative decisions or very many decisions without getting her point of view now," he explained to E!, "because I respect her point of view and her brain, her tastes and almost everything."

The 44-year-old—who recently finalized his divorce from Jenna Dewan, with whom he shares 11-year-old daughter Everly—shared that working together brought them closer than he could’ve imagined.

"Making movies is hard," he added. "One thing I will say is if you think you're in love with somebody and you're thinking about, 'Do I want to stay with them forever or be with them or have a child with them or get married?' Go find the hardest possible project that you can physically find. Go build a house, paint a room, do something."
