Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson might have a limit to how far he'll go with his daughters.
As the Moana star hit the red carpet at the 2025 Golden Globes in Beverly Hills on Jan. 5, he was joined by daughter Simone Johnson for the sweetest date night. But it seems the duo aren't quite ready to take their father-daughter relationship to new heights.
As Simone exclusively joked to Zuri Hall on Live From E!: Golden Globes', while she and her dad want to take on new adventures together, she wasn't fully onboard for Zuri's suggestion of skydiving. (Click here to see all the red red carpet fashion.)
"Skydiving might be a bit much," the 23-year-old admitted, which prompted Dwayne to jump in with his own suggestion, "Let's start with tequila."
And while Simone—whom Dwayne shares with ex Dany Garcia—thinks maybe it's easiest to start with an outdoor hike, she could be convinced to try skydiving if she had some additional support in the form of Zuri and her own father.
"Let's do it," she added. "Never say never."
Skydiving could be quite the way to start the new year for Dwayne, as the 52-year-old is fresh off the success of Moana 2. And the movie was especially meaningful for him as it's given him a chance to showcase his culture.
"The thing about Moana—and I think the success about Moana—and I wanna thank everybody out there, it's just been this global embrace of our Polynesian culture," he gushed, "and it's really cool."
Plus, he loves how the character of Moana can encourage young girls, like his own daughters Jasmine, 9, and Tiana, 6, who he shares with wife Lauren Hashian.
"Of everything that I love about Moana, the thing that I love most is my daughters, all three of my daughters, see themselves in Moana," Dwayne added. "And I think this idea of emboldening and empowering our young women and how important that is. And I get to run around, with my long hair as Maui, and go, 'Cheehoo,' and embolden our young girls—it's awesome."
