The Country Music Awards have found a deeper well of winners.

Indeed, country music’s biggest night commenced Nov. 20 at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, and some of the 58th CMA Awards attendees may need a pickup truck to get home with all the hardware they’ve received.

Take Ella Langley and Riley Green, who took home the trophy for Musical Event of the Year for their collaboration "you look like you love me."

And they're not the only artists who stand to win big going into the ceremony. Morgan Wallen led the pack of nominees with seven nods—and he'll be tough to beat this year. After all, Wallen dominated the Billboard Hot 100 for six weeks with his and Post Malone’s “I Had Some Help,” as well as his own “Love Somebody” taking the top spot for a week earlier this month.

Closely behind him, though, are other formidable favorites including Cody Johnson and Chris Stapleton with five nods each. Meanwhile, Post—who was featured on both Beyoncé and Taylor Swift’s 2024 albums, as well as launching his own career into the country stratosphere with his own 2024 album F-1 Trillion—and CMAs co-host Lainey Wilson each earned four nods each.

On top of country artists receiving their respective honors, the 2024 CMAs ceremony—also hosted by Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning—will include performances of some of this year’s most popular tracks. For starters, Post opened the show with a duet with the “Tennessee Whiskey” singer.

Later on, Shaboozey—who is up for New Artist of the Year alongside Megan Moroney, Nate Smith, Mitchell Tenpenny, Zach Top and Bailey Zimmerman—will also take the stage, as well as Ashley McBryde, Luke and Lainey.

As for one country icon missing from all the action? Beyoncé. Although the “Texas Hold ‘Em” singer did a full genre shift into the country sphere with Cowboy Carter, she was not recognized for any nods at this year’s CMAs ceremony.

Still, Beyoncé did receive the stamp of approval from one of country’s biggest stars, Dolly Parton, who has 10 CMA Awards of her own, including the ceremony’s prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award.

“I was very proud of her album," Dolly told E! News in May. “I thought she did a great job in country music, and I thought it was great. And I was just happy she did ‘Jolene.’”

Dolly and other fans of Cowboy Carter will hopefully see the album get its flowers soon enough, but in the meantime, keep reading for every other country star who has shown out at the 2024 CMAs.
