Ashlyn Harris Shares Glimpse Into Girlfriend Sophia Bush’s Bond With Her Kids

"You are the sun, in human form," the Grey's Anatomy actress wrote on Instagram alongside a snap of them going in for a sweet kiss. "You light up the world and warm each and every person you touch. There is no one like you, and everyone who knows you knows it's true. We are all so lucky. And I am the absolute luckiest."

But the love goes both ways for the couple, as Ashlyn—who filed for divorce from Ali last September—was equally enamored by Sophia on her birthday over the summer.

"I hope today feels special and full knowing how much we love you," she gushed on Instagram in July. "You are such a gift in this world. To see you shine and happy fills us all up. I love your heart Soph—I love everything about you."

Sophia, 42, previously reflected on the beginning of her and Ashlyn's love story and how they unexpectedly found one another.

"I didn't expect to find love in this support system," she shared in an April Glamour essay. "I don't know how else to say it other than: I didn't see it until I saw it. And I think it's very easy not to see something that's been in front of your face for a long time when you'd never looked at it as an option and you had never been looked at as an option."

"Falling in love with her has sutured some of my own childhood wounds, and made me so much closer to my own mother," she continued. "Seeing Ashlyn choose to not simply survive, but thrive, for her babies has been the most beautiful thing I've ever witnessed a friend do. And now I get to love her. How lucky am I?"
