Rosie O'Donnell's daughter Chelsea Belle O'Donnell is facing new legal woes.
Less than two months after the 27-year-old was arrested and charged with drug offenses and child neglect, Chelsea has been arrested again.
"So yes this is true," Rosie shared to Instagram Dec. 3, alongside a screenshot of an email asking for confirmation about her daughter's status. "After being bailed out by her birth mother—Chelsea was arrested again—and is facing many charges related to her drug addiction."
The 62-year-old added, "We all hope she is able to get the help she needs to turn her life around. #drug-addiction #tragic #sadness #truth."
The Marinette County Jail confirmed to E! News that Chelsea was arrested on Nov. 18 and is currently being held. According to the jail, no court date has been set.
She had originally been released on bail when her birth mother Deanna Micoley posted the $4,000 bail on Nov. 13, according to court documents obtained by Us Weekly.
Chelsea—who is mom to daughters Skylar, 5, Riley, 3, and Avery, 2, and son Atlas, 12 months—is currently being charged with two felony counts of possession of methamphetamine, a felony count of possession of narcotic drugs and two felony counts of bail jumping, according to People.
This is the third arrest for Chelsea in as many months. According to court records previously seen by E! News, she was first arrested in Marinette County, Wis., in September on felony counts of neglecting a child, maintaining a drug trafficking place and possession of methamphetamine. She was also charged with misdemeanor counts of possession of THC, illegally obtained prescriptions and drug paraphernalia, and domestic abuse.
On Oct. 11, Chelsea was arrested once again, this time in Oconto County, Wis., and per court records was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and narcotic drugs and bail jumping, as well as misdemeanor counts of drug paraphernalia possession and resisting or obstructing an officer.
After the news of her daughter's arrests were made public, Rosie—who is also mom to children Parker, 29, Blake, 24, Vivienne, 21, and Dakota, 11—took to social media to share her gratitude over the support her fans had shown her.
"I just wanted to thank everybody for their kind words and wishes about Chelsea," the former talk show host said in an October TikTok video. "I appreciate that. It's very, very nice."
She was also grateful to those who had shared their own experiences and "were going through something similar with a child or a spouse or a brother or a lover."
"Thank you for making me feel less alone," she continued. "I think it's hard to be a public person sometimes, and it's hard for the children of those public people, but it is what it is in the culture today. And here we are. So that's that."
Rosie has been candid about the difficult relationship she and Chelsea have had over the years, especially in 2015 when the teen moved to Wisconsin to live with her birth mother.
"Chelsea made a decision when she turned 18 that she wanted to go to her birth mother," Rosie's publicist told E! News at the time. "This was her choice."
In 2018, Rosie confirmed the two had reconnected shortly before Chelsea had given birth to her first child.
"She's doing better now and we're both communicating with each other," Rosie told The Talk that September. "When somebody does something unforgivable to you and you can forgive them and they can forgive you, there's a kind of grace that descends upon the both of you, within that."
