Nick Cannon is weighing in on Orlando Brown’s recent comments about an alleged encounter between them.
On a Dec. 1 Twitch livestream hosted by Deshae Frost, the That’s So Raven star alleged that the 44-year-old previously performed oral sex on him.
“Nick Cannon, he really do like to, you know, suck cannons, and that's what he does,” the 38-year-old said in the video, obtained by Hollywood Unlocked. “He sucked a good cannon on me. He sucked my cannon. He licked my cannon.”
“Nick, you sucked my d--k,” he continued, “and don’t you ever forget it!”
As for Nick’s response? The Wild ‘n Out comedian shrugged off the claims as he shared his empathy for Orlando.
“Man I love this brother Orlando! Sincerely believe this young man is brilliant and beyond talented,” he wrote in a since-deleted comment. "It hurts me to see him crash out like this and truly disappointed in all these media outlets who continue to exploit him.”
But this wasn’t the first time the father of 12 addressed Orlando’s sexual encounter claims. In fact, the accusations initially garnered attention in 2020 when a video of Orlando talking about the allegations while walking through a store went viral.
In the Instagram video, he claimed repeatedly that he “let Nick” perform oral sex on him, adding, “and I liked it. It was OK.”
And it didn’t take long before Nick broke his silence.
"When I first saw this I thought it was f--king hilarious!!!!" he wrote in a January Instagram post alongside a screenshot of an article about the video. "But then after putting a little cognitive effort and analytical thought to the situation, I figured what a great opportunity for a 'teachable moment'!”
“First off let me say I am praying for the young brother Orlando even though I don't really know him personally, I have always loved and enjoyed his talent and have been a fan of his past work,” he continued. “He was f--king brilliant in Major Payne, and had us all laughing on That's So Raven."
After all, Nick understands how difficult living and growing up in the spotlight can be, and did not place the blame on Orlando—but rather the industry itself.
"This is another crucial example of when we allow our young artists to be prematurely exposed by this demonic business and left out to fend for themselves," he explained of Orlando, who has faced legal trouble over the years. "We need better support systems for our youth and take care of our own.”
“I watched various of this young brothers videos and all I see is a cry out for help,” he continued, “so I don't know if there are any real leaders or solid individuals in this young man's life but let's embrace him and tighten him up so he doesn't become another lost victim to these Hollywood circumstances."
