Harry Jowsey is mourning a devastating loss.

The Perfect Match alum shared the news of his father’s death in a post on social media Dec. 4, posting a collection of throwback pics of his dad and family.

“I love you Dad, I miss you,” Harry wrote on Instagram. “I’ll catch you on the other side.”

The first snap in the photo carousel featured a young Harry alongside his brother and four sisters, with his father smiling at the center. The next picture featured Harry and his brother hugging their dad by a water fountain, followed by a shot taken from behind of Harry and his dad sitting together on a log. He ended the carousel on a black and white close-up shot of what appeared to be him clutching his father’s hand.

In addition to the heartfelt post, the 27-year-old shared a touching message of appreciation to his supporters on his Instagram Story.

One day before sharing the tragic news, Harry alluded to his loss with a cryptic Instagram Story post featuring a broken heart emoji and a dove emoji, set against a simple black background.

In 2021, the Too Hot to Handle star opened up about his turbulent relationship with his father.

“I love my dad and I know he’s trying to be better,” he said on the Almost Adulting Podcast at the time, “but I just grew up with him being [a] crazy, crazy alcoholic.”

Despite their ups and downs, Harry noted his dad’s “many really, really good characteristics,” adding that he still had a soft spot for his father.

“Regardless of anything,” he said, “that’s my old man, and I still love him.”
