Love never felt so good for Paris Jackson.
After all, the only daughter of Michael Jackson just announced her engagement to music producer Justin Long. And while the couple just shared their latest milestone on Instagram with the proposal and dazzling ring, they've kept much of their two-year romance out of the spotlight.
"Doing like with you these last years has been an indescribable whirlwind," Paris gushed on Instagram Dec. 6 alongside adorable pics of the pair. "I couldn't dream of anyone more perfect for me to do it all with. Thank you for letting me be yours. I love you."
As for who her Prince Charming is? Justin is a songwriter, producer, audio engineer and mixer with "over a decade of experience making music," per his LinkedIn. As a studio manager for Barefoot Recording, per his resume, he's previously worked with artists like 5 Seconds of Summer, The Wombats, Nickel Creek and Grace Potter.
Justin, whom Paris began dating in 2022, admitted that he dove into music production in a "very stereotypical way" when he was playing in bands as a teenager.
"We would end up recording music because that's what there is to do," he explained on the Secret Sonics podcast in 2020. "So you end up doing that more and more. I remember in the MySpace days, bands would find engineers, and we'd go to record for like $200 for a song or something like that."
He realized that while discussing notes on the sessions with the bandmates, he seemed to "care the most about what the recordings were like."
Justin added, "I just naturally gravitated into recording more music."
But it wasn't only a career that music gravitated him to. In fact, he was seen in Paris' social media posts at rehearsal with her bandmates Michael O'Grady, Nick Diiorio and Ryan Rice in 2022.
