Kim Kardashian has had a rough year.
Although The Kardashians star’s business is thriving and she’s indulged in several luxuries such as interacting with a Tesla robot and throwing an at-home premiere for Wicked, she recently revealed she’s experiencing her second significant injury of the year.
In an Instagram Story shared Dec. 6, the 44-year-old posted a photo of her foot in a boot cast soundtracked to Fergie’s song “Clumsy.”
“FML,” Kim wrote alongside the photo with a swearing emoji. “Broken foot for the holidays.”
The injury is certainly inconvenient, but it is not the first one Kim has had this year. In fact, she previously shared on The Kardashians that she had broken her index and her middle fingers this summer. One of the breaks was so severe she had even noted “the bone was sticking out a little bit.”
And while Kim—who shares kids North, 11, Saint, 9, Chicago, 6, and Psalm, 5, with ex Kanye West—has yet to share the details behind her most recent spill, she did divulge how her finger injuries came to be.
“My big sliding door in my bathroom that opens up,” she explained during an episode of The Kardashians in July. “I was shutting it and there’s no latch. You have to pull the inside of the mechanics out.”
She noted that Saint had run into the bathroom with chips one night—and as she told him to put them away because it was too late for snacks, the door slammed on her fingers.
"I literally looked at my hand and I fell to the ground,” she recalled. “I just grabbed the table and got on my knees because I just saw all this blood.”
Kim noted that the injury was “horrible.”
“You can’t describe the pain but your whole body goes in shock,” she emphasized. “It was more painful than childbirth.”
But while Kim has not been lucky when it comes to injuries in 2024, she did recently reflect on just one of her many blessings, Saint, for his 9th birthday—just one day before sharing her foot injury.
“I was going through my photos and most of our pics are snuggling cuddling pics,” she gushed in a Dec. 5 post. “I always wanna believe that my little man will be this snuggly forever! So cheers to one of my soulmates for being the sweetest boy. Happy birthday. I love you.”
