Kendall Jenner is reminiscing over her golden locks.
Less than a month after giving up life as a blonde, the supermodel is commemorating her lighter ‘do with a series of throwback photos posted to her Instagram Dec. 8.
Her photo dump included very casual, intimate selfies, brief moments she captured in her blonde era and a simple, “some blonde,” in the caption.
And while some may say that blondes have more fun, the 29-year-old only sported the look for two months. She traded in her signature dark brown for the chic, golden-blonde hairstyle to end New York Fashion week in September, only a month after playing with a dramatic bob-and-bangs look for her Calvin Klein campaign.
“It took me two days to take her this gorgeous shade of golden blonde,” celebrity colorist Jenna Perry told Vogue at the time. “She is really inspired by the ’90s and Caroline Bessette-Kennedy right now.”
But if one thing is consistent about the Kardashians star’s hair, it’s inconsistency. By mid-November, Kendall was back to being a brunette—and it was her shortest look yet. The reveal came as a series of three topless images taken by fashion photographer Mert Alas. She captioned the stunning shots with just the haircut emoji.
In fact, it seems the 818 Tequila founder took quite a liking to the bob lifestyle, because less than a month later, she decided it was time for another chop. This time, she debuted a chin-length brunette bob at the FWRD & Revolve Holiday Shop that was noticeably shorter than the neck-length look she debuted earlier in the month.
After all, Kendall shares her adventurous style with her sisters Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner, who have gone through quite the hair journeys themselves. Kylie was dabbling with a blue look in September while Kim was switching things up and going red for the fall.
And if this throwback was any indication that Kendall might be longing for her days as a blonde, Kim definitely understands the sentiment.
"I have different energy when I'm blonde. I'm a totally different person," the 44-year-old told Allure in 2022. "I'm sassier. I'm more confident as a blonde. As soon as I go back to brunette, I'm a boss."
Indeed, many celebs have experienced the power of a drastic hairstyle change. Keep reading for more of the most iconic hair transformations…
