Selena Gomez got a ring that was more than good for her.

After all, her fiancé Benny Blanco seemingly paid homage to the Rare Beauty founder's hit tune "Good for You" when it came to their proposal, which the Only Murders in the Building star announced on social media Dec. 11.

Indeed, the music producer opted for a stunning piece of jewelry featuring a marquise-shaped diamond stone set on a gold pavé band, which is appears to be "about six carats," according to Ann Grimmett, the vice president of Merchandising at Jared Jewelers, meaning it is valued at "around $225,000."

And dedicated fans of Selena's music will instantly link the cut to her 2015 hit.

"I'm on my marquise diamonds," Selena sings alongside A$AP Rocky in the track. "I'm a marquise diamond / Could even make that Tiffany jealous / You say I give it to you hard / So bad, so bad / Make you never wanna leave / I won't, I won't."

Selena is in good company when it comes to sporting the rock. The lemon-shaped diamond cut was literally made for royalty. Its origins date back to the 18th century, when King Louis XV of France commissioned his jeweler to design a diamond inspired by his chief mistress, Marquise de Pompadour's smile, according to Vogue.

As for the proposal itself, Selena—who wore a furry coat, blue jeans and sneakers—shared a snap of herself on Instagram beaming at the ring while the couple had a romantic picnic with Taco Bell takeout.

She captioned the sweet announcement, "Forever begins now…"

The 32-year-old received some major love from her friends in the comments, with longtime pal Taylor Swift taking the initiative in the wedding planning and writing, "Yes, I will be the flower girl."

Meanwhile, Suki Waterhouse simply gushed, "Congratulations beauty!" For his part, Benny quipped, "Hey wait… that's my wife."

And for Selena, who started dating Benny in the summer of 2023 and went public later that year, their relationship has been better than any love song since the very beginning.

"I guess this is the safest I've ever felt in one," she told The Hollywood Reporter in November, "I see a future with this person. And when you put a little bit out there, people are not as hungry to hunt you down."

The feeling is mutual for the 36-year-old, who previously emphasized that the next chapters in his life would involve wedding bells and little ones.

"When I do look at her," he told Howard Stern in May, "I'm always like, 'I don't know a world where it could be better than this.'"

And Benny hinted that kids may not be so far out of the couple's future, either.

"That's the next goal to check the box," he added. "I have a ton of godkids, I've got a ton of nephews. I love being around kids."
