Whoa whoa whoa—Peter Kavinsky is coming to Korea!
Fans missing To All The Boys stars Noah Centineo and Lana Condor in spinoff series XO Kitty are in luck as Noah will be reprising his role as the boyfriend of Kitty Covey’s sister Lara Jean Covey in the show’s second season, airing Jan. 16.
In the Dec. 17 trailer, fans spotted a glimpse of The Recruit actor while Kitty (Anna Cathcart) laments over the state of her life at the fictional Korean Independent School of Seoul (KISS) as it was left in season one.
“When I came to KISS, I never felt more like an outsider,” she says. “Luckily, there’s nothing like a friendly face from home.”
The scene cuts to several of the show’s cast members saying “What?” before Kitty exclaims, “Peter!”
In a quick clip, Peter walks toward Kitty on KISS campus while wearing a Stanford sweatshirt—a nod to where his To All The Boys character’s storyline left off—and gives her a hug while sporting a gigantic grin.
In another clip, Peter gives Kitty a pep talk.
“You are Kitty Song freakin’ Covey,” he says. “Don’t you forget it.”
Sadly, Lana’s Lara Jean is not featured in the trailer but the actress—whose character ended the film’s last installment as a freshman at New York University—has teased interest in returning to the franchise.
“I would definitely never say never,” Lana—who married husband Anthony De La Torre earlier this year—told TheWrap of returning to Lara Jean in 2023. “I mean, I think it’s pretty clear that I love the To All the Boys world and have dedicated a lot of my young adulthood to it. To me, that world feels like home.”
Noah, for his part, emotionally said goodbye to the character after wrapping the third To All The Boys film—making his return all the more surprising.
“Tonight was my last night as Peter Kavinsky,” Noah wrote in a 2019 post on X. “I hope you all love these last installments as much as we do. Forever grateful for the opportunity to be yours.”
And while To All the Boys fans will be thrilled to see the character first written by author Jenny Han brought to life once more, he isn’t the only fictional character worth swooning over on the small screen.

Why We’re Excited: A twisty thriller that brings a recluse back to their hometown is always an immediate yes, and in this limited series, it’s Thompson’s Anna whose return following a murder captivates a local detective (new Emmy winner Bernthal) who is also investigating the crime.
People We Meet on Vacation
Based On: Emily Henry's 2021 novel

Margo’s Got Money Troubles
Based on: Rufi Thorpe’s 2024 novel
Starring: Elle Fanning, Michelle Pfeiffer and Nicole Kidman
Premieres: April 15, 2026, on Apple TV
Why we’re Excited: Is it really a limited series if it doesn’t have Kidman popping up in it? Thorpe’s book—following the daughter of a former Hooters waitress and a onetime pro-wrestler who turns to OnlyFans after becoming a single mom at 20—is already excellent on its own. But this casting has certainly placed this eight-episode series at the top of the must-watch list.
Verity
Based on: Hoover's 2021 book
Starring: Anne Hathaway, Dakota Johnson and Josh Hartnett
Premieres: In theaters May 15, 2026
Why We're Excited: For starters, we can look no further than Anne, Dakota and Josh. The book—which follows a struggling writer who is asked to complete a best-selling series after the author's mysterious accident—is already a wild, twisty ride. And with this trio at the center, seeing it brought to life on screen is all the more exciting.
Practical Magic 2
Based On: The Book of Magic by Alice Hoffman
