Joe Jonas is taking you to a pineapple under the sea.
The Jonas Brothers singer decided to give fans a peek at a few of his tattoos, namely a thigh tattoo showing SpongeBob SquarePants performing "Sweet Victory" from the 2001 Nickelodeon episode "Band Geeks."
But that's not all, as the 35-year-old also showed off his tattoos of Chuckie Finster from Rugrats and Mojo Jojo from Powerpuff Girls in a Dec. 19 Instagram video which said, "You got tats right?" to which Joe responded in the caption, "A couple."
And while his fans were delighted by all the ink on his upper thigh, no one was more excited than SpongeBob himself, who commented on the video, "Considering this a sweet victory."
The "Cake By the Ocean" singer actually has a number of cartoon tattoos—including Mario, Dexter from Dexter's Laboratory, Bart Simpson and Max Goof dressed as Powerline—which he got from Lauren Winzwer in 2018.
The Australia-based tattoo artist shared several snaps of Joe's fresh ink on Instagram at the time, writing, "Thank you so much for getting these off me @joejonas !! so stoked to tattoo some of my favs on you!!!!"
And it would appear that Joe is a big fan of non-cartoon tattoos too, as he displayed some new art on his chest in November 2023 that featured the birthdays of his daughters Willa, 4, and Delphine, 2, who he shares with ex Sophie Turner.
Prior to their 2023 split, he and Sophie had even gotten matching tats, with the Toy Story quote "To Infinity and Beyond" written across their wrists.
And for years fans have speculated that the black-and-white tattoo of a woman's eye on his neck was an homage to Sophie since the resemblance was rather uncanny; however, Joe never confirmed one way or another. Instead, the art was most likely inspired by 20th century Italian artist Piero Fornasetti's, considering the "Sucker" singer already has three tattoos on his forearm of opera singer Lina Cavalieri, which are some of Fornasetti's most famous pieces.
Joe isn't the only celeb with an interesting tattoo collection. Keep reading to see what more of your favorite stars have gotten inked on their body.
