This Christmas, Tarek El Moussa proved that sometimes the best gift of all is spending time with loved ones—and that includes both his wife Heather El Moussa and his ex-wife Christina Haack. Extra space In fact, the HGTV stars all shared a look into their holiday celebrations at Christina’s house. (Christina and Tarek share kids Taylor, 14, and Brayden, 9, while Tarek and Heather are parents to Tristan, 22 months.)
Christina shared a sweet snap of Brayden alongside her and ex Ant Anstead’s son Hudson, 5, as they posed in front of a Christmas tree.
In an additional snap, Christina’s mom smiled Laurie Haack was all smiles alongside Tarek’s mom Dominique El Moussa-Arnold. As Christina—who split from third husband Josh Hall earlier this year—captioned the image, “Cute grandmas.”
Dominique even posted a snap from the festivities to her Instagram, writing, “Merry Christmas! We had a wonderful, fun evening at Christina’s house. Great people and amazing food! Thanks Christina! Love you!"
To which her former daughter-in-law wrote in the comments, alongside a red heart, “Love you pretty lady.”
Heather, meanwhile, shared an adorable series of images of her and Tarek’s Christmas morning, complete with matching PJs and a quick pause on present opening for a diaper change.
The first image in her carousel included a full family photo, featuring Brayden, Taylor and a tearful Tristan. As Heather captioned the series, “Well… we don’t always get the best photos when you have a crazy toddler, sometimes this is as good as it’s gonna get!”
She added, “We love our little family so much! Happy Holidays to everyone.”
The sweet blended family moment should come as no surprise. After all, not only have Tarek and Christina continued to work together onscreen, but the pair and Heather have been candid about how close they remain as a family.
So when Taylor didn’t appear in Heather and Tarek’s Thanksgiving post, Heather quickly assuaged fears of drama with the note, “For the haters- Tay is on a trip with her mom, that’s why she’s not in our photo.”
In fact, all three of her children were at the top of Heather’s gratitude list.
"We are thankful for our kids, Taylor, Brayden & Tristan,” she continued in her caption. “They bring so much innocence, love and laughter to our lives. And our big blended crazy but beautiful family. And we are thankful for our health. We wake up daily and strive for happiness and the excitement a new day brings. We hope that everyone has a ‘perfect’ day today whatever that may be and mean for you, Happy Thanksgiving.”
