Tom Brady enjoyed teeing up some family time over the holidays.
The former New England Patriots quarterback went golfing with his 17-year-old lookalike son, John "Jack" Edward Thomas, and threw some playful shade at his skills on the green.
Tom posted a photo of himself watching Jack—who he shares with ex Bridget Moynahan—during a game of golf.
"Love this boy," the 47-year-old wrote over the snap. "Not sure about this game."
Tom—who also shares son Benjamin, 14, and daughter Vivian, 11, with ex-wife Gisele Bündchen—was surely extra grateful to have been able to spend Christmas with his son after having to be away from his kids at work on Thanksgiving last month.
The retired NFL player was commentating a game for FOX Nov. 28, but still paid tribute to his children by sharing a sweet photo of them on his Instagram Story.
And while he may have to switch off holidays with his exes, he has still managed to spend a lot of quality time with his kids.
In fact, earlier in November, Tom stepped out with Jack for more one-on-one time at a New York Knicks game. After their outing, he shared an adorable selfie of them together over which he wrote, "Luckiest dad in the world."
He also recently opened up about Jack's athletic dreams.
"I have a son who's 6-foot-5 and wants to play basketball," he said Fortune Global Forum Nov. 12. "Unfortunately, he jumps as high as I do, but I tell him, 'Dude, you’re gonna be a stud.'"
"Whether he does or not, who cares?" Tom added. "But I want him to know that his dad's got his back."
The seven-time Super Bowl champ admitted that "it sucks to be Tom Brady's son, in so many ways," especially with the pressure to live up to his athletic achievements.
"There’s a lot of challenges I faced as a kid," he reflected. "My kids naturally are gonna be faced with their own challenges and they gotta figure out how to overcome them, too."
And, after all, Tom is the first to admit that he's not perfect.
"Being a parent is probably the hardest job all of us have," he said. "And we screwed up a lot and I've screwed up a lot as a parent."
