Diplo Admits He’s “Tripping” on LSD During Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper’s CNN New Year’s Eve Show

“I wish I was Diplo, I got to say,” Anderson joked. “I just think he has a fun, cool lifestyle. Can you imagine his lifestyle? ‘I’m Diplo. I do things.'”

“He did like four shots while we were talking,” he continued.  “And he’s going to play. How does he work? How does anybody do anything? I’ve had four shots. I just want to go to sleep.”

But while Anderson may not be able to keep up with the extravagance of Diplo’s lifestyle, he longed for some of the luxurious excuses that Diplo was able to use after running late for his NYE DJ set.  

“I want one day to have a lifestyle where somebody says, ‘Oh yeah, he’s late,’” Anderson explained. “’His helicopter’s running late.’”

The Watch What Happens Live host, however, could not just sit and listen to his best friend gush over Diplo’s ways of life. After all, Anderson—whose mom was Gloria Vanderbilt—is a descendant of the influential Vanderbilt family.

“Yes,” Andy joked to the audience, “the Vanderbilt boy suffers just like you.”

And perhaps it was the tequila talking, but the teasing didn’t end there. After jokingly asking his bestie if he wanted to “make love to” Somebody Somewhere actress Bridget Everett, Andy proclaimed that Anderson—who came out publicly as gay in 2012—“doesn’t know about making love to a woman.”

“I don’t even know what you’re talking about,” Anderson responded, to which Andy said, “You don’t know what it means to make love to a woman? Yeah, you don’t. That has been established on CNN right now.”

“He don’t know about that,” the Bravolebrity added. “If y’all had any question about that, he don’t know that.”
