Kristen Bell isn’t shy about telling the world how much she loves her man.
The Nobody Wants This star marked Dax Shepard’s 50th birthday with a loved-up tribute, that featured a series of PDA-filled pics. Kristen’s post began with a throwback picture of her and the Armchair Expert host sharing a kiss—from what she noted was the first pic she ever shared on Instagram—and following with pictures of the pair kissing at their wedding, at home and even at events.
Kristen’s post also included pictures of Dax kissing their two daughters Lincoln, 11, and Delta, 9.
“Happy birthday to the most affectionate 220 lbs man that ever existed [sic],” the 44-year-old wrote on the Jan. 2 Instagram post. “I cannot imagine life without you (The first pic is the first I ever posted on Instagram. The second is from our wedding day).”
Dax was filled with love as he took to the comments to thank his wife for her tribute writing, “How dare you make me cry on my big day of turning super old.”
Kristen also shared another sweet birthday tribute from one of her and Dax’s close friends, Jimmy Kimmel.
“Happy 50 to my dear pal @DaxShepard,” the Jimmy Kimmel Live host wrote in a Jan. 2 Instagram post. “I wish you another half century of monster trucks and monstrous toes.”
This milestone occasion comes shortly after Kristen—who tied the knot with Dax in 2013—shared how she and the comedian have managed their decade-long marriage.
"I married my polar opposite," Kristen told E! News in September. "We are the antithesis of each other. We argue about absolutely everything, but there is a foundational trust that we've built that keeps us together and is quite stimulated by one another's opinions."
"I can definitely relate to being attracted to someone who is maybe on paper seemingly wrong for you,” she continued. "Being with someone who you are unlike or you don't have a ton of similarities with," she reflected, "it forces you to grow."
