With a new Bachelor comes a new group of women ready to compete for his final rose.
This time, they’ll be hoping to win over the heart of Grant Ellis, whose appearance on Jenn Tran’s season of The Bachelorette earned him a starring role as the franchise’s next leading man.
Now, ahead of The Bachelor’s 29th season premiere on Jan. 27, the new group of 25 eligible women hoping to come out with Grant by their side and a ring on their finger are ready for their chance at forever.
In a new video shared by ABC, each of the women—ranging in age from 25 to 32—smile and dance as they’re unveiled to the audience. And with varied occupations such as boxing trainer, attorney, pediatrician and venture capitalist, it looks like this season promises to bring together a vibrant group to viewers’ screens.
And for Grant, who is a 30-year-old day trader currently living in Houston, TX, he’s as eager to meet his future wife as she—whoever she may be—is to meet him.
“So thankful for this opportunity, and this shot at love….” he wrote on Instagram Stories after being announced as the next Bachelor. “Let’s make it count.”
This season will likely see Grant try to overcome his past relationship woes. After all, after Jenn sent him home during her season along with Spencer Conley and Sam McKinney, he admitted to feeling blindsided.
“I feel empty right now,” Grant told cameras during the Aug. 2024 episode. “I don’t know. Jenn’s a great woman. She’s a great woman, and I expressed my love for her. Like, I poured everything out, and it wasn’t good enough. It just sucks knowing that you feel some way about somebody, and they don’t feel the same way about you.”
But even then, he wasn’t ready to give up on love—a trait that is sure to serve him well during his own season.
“I want a family. I want to be happy. I want a wife. I want to be in love. I want that, you know?” the reality star continued during the episode. “I want to give everything to somebody, and I want them to give everything to me in return.”
So just who might that future somebody be? Without further ado, meet the women featured on season 29 of The Bachelor.
