The internet has a lot of thoughts about Jax’s baby bump.
The “Victoria’s Secret” singer, who is expecting her first child with husband Brave Gregg, highlighted a series of comments she received on social media accusing her of staging her pregnancy.
In a Jan. 29 Instagram Stories post, the American Idol alum shared a screenshot of two social media comments insisting her bump wasn’t real. But Jax seemingly took the skepticism in stride, writing, “People saying my pregnant belly is fake was not on my 2025 bingo card.”
The 28-year-old, who finished third on season 14 of the singing competition, then proceeded to post a close-up video of her bump as she and Brave, 33, continued to make light of the speculation.
“A lot of people on the internet think that you’re living in a fake belly,” the first-time father-to-be joked to his unborn child, whom the couple confirmed is a baby girl. “I know, they’re idiots. I know you’re real, though—I just saw you kick.”
But even amid the exciting moment, he playfully pleaded for the baby to keep the kicking to a minimum.
“Go easy on your mom,” he continued. “Don’t hurt her bladder or kidneys.”
The pair, who wed in 2023, shared their pregnancy news in October in a video that also highlighted the two miscarriages they endured on their road to growing their family.
“To all the mothers who have experienced loss in their pregnancy journey, your pain is valid,” Jax captioned the Instagram post. “Your resilience is nothing short of a miracle. You are not alone. You are seen and loved. God’s plan is so complex.”
She then went on to celebrate her rainbow baby, adding, “We loved you before we knew you. I was born to be your mommy.”
