Denial may be a river, but Doechii was dropping truth bombs during the 2025 Grammys.
In fact, the "Nissan Altima" rapper accidentally swore on-air after making history as the third woman to win Best Rap Album. Taking the stage at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, Doechii quipped, "There's so much going on. What the f--k?" (Click here to see all the star sightings.)
Realizing her blunder, she quickly added with a laugh, "Sorry!"
Elsewhere in her speech, the 26-year-old reflected on the hard work she poured into her 2024 mixtape Alligator Bites Never Heal.
"I put my heart and my soul into this mixtape," she told the crowd. "I bared my life. I went through so much. I dedicated myself to sobriety, and God told me that I would be rewarded."
She continued, "I know that there is some Black girl out there—so many black women out there—that are watching me right now, and I want to tell you: 'You can do it.'"
"Anything is possible," Doechii (real name Jaylah Ji'mya Hickmon) added. "Don't allow anybody to project any stereotypes on you, tell you that you can't be here, that you're too dark, that you're not smart enough or that you're too dramatic or you're too loud. You are exactly who you need to be and I am a testimony."
Doechii's win comes almost 30 years since Lauryn Hill nabbed the Best Rap Album prize with the Fugees, becoming the first-ever woman to do so. Cardi B became the first female solo artist to win in the category in 2019.
"Rap helped me find my voice," Cardi told the crowd on Feb. 2, before presenting Doechii with this year's award. "Rap helped me tell my story. And most of all, rap changed my life."
