Alix Earle and Braxton Berrios are each other's biggest fans.

In fact, the Miami Dolphins player—who started dating the TikToker in 2023—was supportive of her recent idea to tease an engagement announcement, despite there being no official plans in the works.

"It was just a fun joke because everyone was posting these outlandish things with TikTok being banned," she told E! News in an exclusive interview. "I asked Braxton and he was like, ‘Oh my god, go ahead post it. That's so funny.'"

"He was in on it," Alix confirmed. "He wasn't shocked."

Indeed, before TikTok's brief ban in the United States in January, the social media star—who's amassed over 7 million followers on the platform—encouraged her fans to follow her on Instagram so they don't miss when she gets engaged.

And although it was just a joke at the time, Alix admitted that she's been "getting a lot of questions about that post" since TikTok was restored on Jan. 19, "I'm like, 'Maybe I shouldn't have put that up.'"

While Alix, 24, and Braxton, 29, don't have any immediate engagement plans, they do have another milestone occasion to look forward to in the near future: Super Bowl 2025.

"It's honestly perfect that it's in New Orleans this year," Alix, who will watch the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles face off on Feb. 9 alongside Braxton and Ashtin Earle, told E!.  "My sister goes to Tulane, she's a senior there, so I'm going to be able to bring her with me."

"I'm very excited," she added. "Super Bowl weekend is always so much fun."

After attending the game, Alix will be helping fans with their post-Super Bowl hangover, courtesy of Carl's Jr.

The fast-food restaurant is giving away free Hangover Burgers by Alix Earle to My Rewards members at participating locations on Feb. 10.

"This just seems like the perfect hangover cure," Alix said of the burger, which features a folded egg, bacon, cheese, hash rounds and special sauce. "It's something I would crave in the morning."
