Lindsay Hubbard has blissfully entered a new season of her life: Motherhood.
"I have always wanted to be a mom," the Summer House star—who gave birth to baby girl Gemma Britt Kufe in early December—exclusively told E! News. "I've always thought moms were great, but now experiencing pregnancy to labor and delivery and birth to the grind and the hustle as a parent to a newborn, I think moms are superheroes and I think that they don't get enough credit."
While the 38-year-old called welcoming her first baby with her boyfriend (whose identify remains private) "equally amazing and incredible," it's also been a learning curve for the former publicist.
"It's a lot of newness and learning and gaining the experience and confidence as a new mom," Lindsay noted. "But I could not be more in love with this child. She's the best."
Something else Lindsay had to tackle for the first time? Filming the Bravo series' ninth season pregnant surrounded by pool parties, hard-partying costars and ex-fiancé Carl Radke..
"Something happened in pregnancy where it made me very happy giddy and giggly and joking all the time," she told E!. " It was a unique opportunity to be more of the commentator on everyone else's wild drama and lives, which is not a role that I've ever really been in on Summer House. Usually I'm the focus of the drama."
So, what does Lindsay's Summer House future look like now that she has the responsibility of a newborn baby at home? Don't worry, Bravoholics, the series O.G. isn't thinking about leaving the Hamptons next summer.
"Of course I would love to come back next season," she gushed. "Obviously I'm not going to live in the house full time, it's a party house. But we have over the last couple of years done a lot of filming in [New York City]. There's a lot of opportunity to still be on the show and participate with my life, but not having to live in the house."
Plus, as Lindsay suggested, "Whether that's meeting everyone at the beach or filming lunches around the city or whatever the case is, there's a lot of openness for the show to evolve with me and my daughter."
As for the chances of fans getting to see baby Gemma on TV next season?
"I would love that," Lindsay revealed. "There's big conversations around that right now. My boyfriend is private, I'm public, what does that make daughter? We're trying to figure that out as as we speak."
