Craig Conover is speaking out about his split from Paige DeSorbo.
The Southern Charm star answered a slew of questions from Andy Cohen about rumors surrounding his breakup from the Summer House star after three years of dating, which he said "came out of nowhere."
"Paige lied on her podcast and said that the breakup was mutual," Craig said during his Feb. 6 appearance on Watch What Happens Live. "She said it was mutual––which it wasn’t."
The 35-year-old went on to explain that Paige suggested they break up during a phone call the week after Thanksgiving, which he admits he didn't take completely seriously.
"I didn’t think it was real," Craig shared. "We didn’t want different things, she just wanted other people, and that's fine."
He added, '"She didn’t want those things with me anymore, and, like, I’m not mad at her for that, but I don’t like this, ‘Love isn’t enough thing,’ because, you’ll make it work."
Meanwhile, when Andy asked the Sewing Down South founder if he "cosigned" the allegations that Paige cheated on him—which she has categorically denied—he refrained from clarifying his side of the story.
"I don’t want to be involved,” Craig responded. "I got broken up with. I’m the ex-boyfriend, moving on with my life. I’m not going to get sucked into the mud with them. Her cast … like, commenting on how I am grieving and that I’m sorry that I’m not reading Reddit every day, getting on there and defending her. Like, I never said you cheated, so I’m not a part of this."
While the Bravolebrity lamented that they were "planning a future together" and that he "was moving to New York" from Charleston so that they could live in the same city, he ultimately credited the Giggly Squad podcast host for making such a positive impact on him.
"I think we had an awesome relationship," Craig, who has embraced a more domestic lifestyle consisting of less partying since their relationship began, shared. "I’m where I am a lot of it because of her."
Paige echoed those same sentiments when she initially announced their breakup on her podcast.
"I think he is one of the best people I’ve met in my entire life," she said at the end of December. "I will remain the biggest fan for him and want the best for him, and he truly will get the best, because he is the best. But, with that said, I think it is the right decision for both of us."

Craig Conover Addresses the Split
Over a week after the breakup news went public, Craig shared his side of the story.
"This has all been very, very unexpected, to say the least," Craig said in a video shared to Instagram Jan. 7. "I was very shocked and it's ok, it takes two people to be in a relationship. You can't control other people you can only control how you react to it."
That said, Craig also wants everyone to extend grace to his now-ex.
"I'm still processing everything, which is normal, I mean, three-year relationship, it's your best friend who you talk to all day, every day and then they're just gone," he noted. "So one day I'll be able to talk more on it but right now I just wanted to thank everyone for their kind messages."
