Cassie Ventura is sharing a glimpse into her paradise.
The "Me & U" singer—who is mom to daughters Frankie, 5, and Sunny, 3, with husband Alex Fine—has announced she’s expecting the couple’s third baby together. Alongside a series of sweet family photos shared to Instagram Feb. 19, which also featured a look at her growing bump, Cassie simply captioned her post with two emojis, adding, "#3."
As for Alex himself, he also shared the happy news in his own social media post featuring a photo of his pregnant wife and two daughters, writing, "Best gift I could ask for."
Cassie's announcement comes more than a year after she and her ex Sean "Diddy" Combs reached a settlement over her lawsuit accusing him of sexual assault, battery, sex trafficking and subjecting her to a hostile work environment—allegations he has denied.
"I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control," Cassie said in a statement to NBC News in November 2023. "I want to thank my family, fans and lawyers for their unwavering support."
Diddy addressed the matter in his own statement to the outlet, noting, "We have decided to resolve this matter amicably. I wish Cassie and her family all the best.”
The “Paradise” singer’s family update also comes nine months after a 2016 video of the rapper assaulting her was unearthed. In hotel surveillance video published by CNN last May, Diddy was seen chasing Cassie down a hotel hallway before grabbing her, pulling her to the ground and kicking her multiple times.
The footage appeared to match up with an alleged incident detailed in the singer’s lawsuit filed against the Grammy winner, whom she split from in 2018 after a decade-long on-again, off-again relationship.
After the release of the video, Cassie’s husband Alex spoke out in support of his wife.
"To all the survivors, your stories are real and people believe you," he wrote in an open letter shared on Instagram May 2024. "To all the survivors, you're not alone, and there are men and women out there who only care for your well-being and safety. We want you to succeed and flourish."
"I want to raise my daughters,” he wrote, “in a world where they are safe and loved."
