Spotted: Leighton Meester fangirling over Adam Brody.
The Gossip Girl alum shared that she's not surprised the world has fallen back in love with her husband of 10 years due to his role as rabbi Noah Roklov in the Netflix rom-com series Nobody Wants This.
"I'm just so so proud of him and think he deserves everything," Leighton exclusively told E! News correspondent Will Marfuggi. "I think the world of him."
That's why the 38-year-old—who shares daughter Arlo, 9, and a 4-year-old son, whose name has never been publicly shared, with Adam—got emotional when his performance in Nobody Wants This earned him the award for Best Actor in a Comedy Series at the 2025 Critics Choice Award earlier this month.
"It's so wonderful," Leighton continued in the interview, airing Feb. 20 at 11 p.m. "It was a wonderful moment."
And the Country Strong star understands why his "hot rabbi" character resonated with so many people.
"I think everyone's on board because it's him," Leighton explained before quipping, "He is able to embody that because he's hot, OK? I said it. And also because he's truly a wonderful person who was able to bring so much humor and humanity to that role and really make that character and bring a bit of himself to it."
Fortunately, Leighton was also able to experience the magic of Adam's acting talents firsthand, as she confirmed that the 45-year-old makes a cameo in her new comedy series Good Cop/Bad Cop, which she stars in alongside Luke Cook.
"I love his work and to be around him—it's very natural," Leighton gushed. "It doesn't ever feel unnatural to just move our personal life onto set. We've done it many times, and I hope we get the opportunity again."
And Luke echoed Leighton's sentiments about Adam's guest appearance—though he joked that he would occasionally get him mixed up with his iconic character from the early 2000s teen drama The O.C.
"Sometimes, I wanna call him Seth Cohen," Luke told E! in the joint interview, "but I don't because I remember that it's Adam."
New episodes of Good Cop/Bad Cop premiere on the CW Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET/ 6 p.m. PT.
