Justin Bieber has one less lonely bird.
The “Baby” singer and his wife Hailey Bieber seemingly pushed back at haters amid constant criticism and rumors of their relationship by flipping out a strong gesture with, well, that finger.
In a series of photos shared to his Instagram March 27, the Rhode Beauty founder posed for Justin in an all-black outfit, including a pair of retro sunglasses, while standing outside his music room at home. But most prominent in the snap was Hailey’s left hand, adorned with her wedding ring, holding up her middle finger as she stared into the camera.
The captionless post also included a candid of Hailey, as well as a more playful pose as she walked toward Justin. For her part, Hailey—who shares 7-month-old son Jack Blues Bieber with the musician—re-shared the post to her Instagram Story.
While the photos were bold, it wasn’t their only recent message to the haters. In the days leading up to their middle finger memo, Justin—who tied the knot with Hailey in 2018—had not-so-subtly addressed the rumors surrounding his marriage. On March 21, he shared a 2019 Instagram post from his wife to his Instagram Story and emphasized that her message was “still relevant boo.”
"No matter how amazing life may look from the outside I struggle," Hailey wrote in the post. "I’m insecure, I’m fragile, I’m hurting, I have fears, I have doubts, I have anxiety, I get sad, I get angry."
She continued, "I have had more days than I can count where I’ve found myself scrolling through Instagram comparing myself, comparing my looks, feeling like I’m not good enough feeling like I lack so many things and really struggling to be confident in who I am because I constantly feel like I’m just not good enough. Every single day is a confidence battle for me."
The day after resurfacing her heart-baring post, Justin made a heartbreaking confession of his own.
“I think I hate myself sometimes when I feel myself start to become inauthentic,” he wrote to Instagram March 22 alongside a video of a jam sesh. “Then I remember we’re all being made to think we’re not enough but I still hate when I change myself to please people.”
In a separate Instagram earlier in the day, he shared, “I got anger issues too, but I wanna grow and not react so much smh.”
