Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell's reunion has fans in a state of euphoria.
Indeed, the Anyone But You costars raised eyebrows over the weekend when they were spotted together in Texas. But before romance rumors go into overdrive, the two were actually in Glen's home state for his sister Leslie Powell's wedding, which was also attended by pal John Stamos.
Sydney—who recently sparked breakup speculation with fiancé Jonathan Davino—even posed for a photo with Leslie during the wedding festivities, planned by Knighted Affairs, as seen in the snap shared by photographer Lyndi Stücky to Instagram Stories March 30.
E! News has reached out to reps for comment and has not heard back.
And although Sydney has yet to publicly address her relationship status, this isn't the first time her friendship with Glen has made headlines. In fact, they were forced to deny affair rumors after filming Anyone But You in 2023.
"I do want to talk about some stuff I've seen about me online," Sydney said while hosting Saturday Night Live in March 2024. "The craziest rumor is that I was having an affair with my costar Glen Powell. That's obviously not true."
"Me and my fiancé produced the movie together," she added, referencing Jonathan, "and he was there the entire shoot."
The following month, Glen—who was dating model Gigi Paris during production of the film—shared why he and Sydney ended up leaning into the speculation.
"The two things that you have to sell a rom-com are fun and chemistry," the 36-year-old told the New York Times. "Sydney and I have a ton of fun together, and we have a ton of effortless chemistry."
"That's people wanting what's on the screen off the screen," he continued, "and sometimes you just have to lean into it a bit—and it worked wonderfully. Sydney is very smart."
