Hailee Steinfeld is moving in the right direction with Josh Allen.
Nearly six months after she and the NFL star announced their engagement in November, the Pitch Perfect alum detailed how being the other’s biggest cheerleader has made their success all the more sweet.
“It means everything,” Hailee exclusively told E! News during her new movie Sinners’ New York premiere April 3. “I’m so proud of him and everything that he does, every single day, let alone during the season. Of course, Josh has echoed the same sentiment for his fiancée. After all, he gave the 28-year-old a sweet shout out as he accepted MVP at the 2025 NFL Honors ceremony.
“To my fiancée Hailee,” Josh, 28, gushed at the end of his acceptance speech. “You’ve been my rock and my best friend. I would not be standing on this stage if it weren’t for you.”
Prior to receiving the honor, the Buffalo Bills quarterback had reiterated how Hailee was a “huge part” of his success.
As he told the Associated Press in December, “The morale, the support. When I get home, she’s my biggest fan, my biggest supporter. She’s just the best.”
Indeed, Hailee has proven to be a very supportive partner to Josh—and she’s his biggest fan on the field too. The Edge of Seventeen star became a fixture at Buffalo Bills games since the pair went public in 2023, and she’s never shied away from singing his praises.
“To say the least, I am so proud of that man,” Hailee previously told E! News in January. “Everything he’s done and everything that the team has done together, he is the hardest working person I know.”
As for how much longer fans will have to wait for the couple to put their love in capital letters? Hailee previously admitted it may be a minute.
"While I can't wait to tell you more about the day and things we're planning, I'm not ready quite yet," she explained in a December installment of her Beau Society newsletter. "I have to hold this close for a little while longer.”

Hailee and Josh confirmed they were engaged in a November 29 Instagram post showing the athlete getting down on one knee as the Oscar nominee leaned in to give him a kiss. They captioned the post with the date of their major milestone: 11-22-24.
February 2025: Red Carpet Ready
Just a few months after their engagement, Josh and Hailee officially made their red carpet debut at the NFL Honors, where he was named MVP. And during his acccepance speech, he gave her a heartfelt shoutout.
