Watch: Lana Del Rey Shares Rare Glimpse Into Married Life With Alligator Tour Guide Husband

Lana Del Rey is showing no signs of summertime sadness.

Six months after her swamp wedding with husband Jeremy Dufrene, the “Young and Beautiful” singer, offered a rare look at married life on the bayou. And needless to say, the couple are still in the honeymoon phase.

In a photo carousel shared on Instagram April 4, the 39-year-old included an adorable shot of herself and the wildlife tour guide donning plastic crowns as they attended a child’s birthday party. The bash was complete with an alligator-themed cake reading, “Happy birthday Gator! Always standing bayou.”

Elsewhere in the carousel, Jeremy planted a tender kiss on Lana’s cheek as the two sported matching nautical captain’s hats, his embroidered with the word “Groom” while hers featured the word “Bride” and a white veil.

In the caption of Lana’s post, she reflected on “such a crazy nine months” as she prepared for her Stagecoach Festival performance later this month in Indio, Calif. As she noted, “I’m so excited to see everybody in the desert in April!”

The “Summertime Sadness” artist and Jeremy have known each other since at least 2019 and first sparked romance rumors in August. Lana credited her frequent collaborator Jack Antonoff’s marriage to Margaret Qualley for inspiring her to take their relationship to the next level.

“I saw the way he looked at her when he met her,” she said at Variety’s Hitmakers Brunch in December, “and he's a big reason why I waited so long to get married and why I met my amazing husband.”

She continued, “You can still have a very rich home life, even when you get rich.”

Lana also admitted she was unsure about finding love outside of show business.

“It's super nerve-racking to have to hold onto an innocent perception of how things could go when you're in an industry where maybe your values or your morals don't quite match up with what's going on,” she continued, “especially when people think that you probably don't have any morals or values. So, it can get all twisted up.”
