If it seemed like Kylie Kelce didn’t break a sweat talking to Michelle Obama—think again.
After the former first lady appeared as a guest on Kylie’s podcast Not Gonna Lie in March, Kylie is pulling back the curtain on how she really felt while recording the episode—and what she needed help editing out.
“First of all, Tristan, the editing team behind Not Gonna Lie did me a solid,” she revealed during the podcast’s April 10 episode. “I had to wipe my upper lip sweat multiple times. Multiple times. Okay?”
She added, “A lot of fans were shocked that we got Michelle Obama. Girl, same. Guys, I still can’t wrap my head around it.”
And indeed, the podcast soon became a fan-favorite, with Michelle providing sweet insight into her relationship with husband and former president Barack Obama.
Among the topics the 61-year-old discussed was her and Barack’s bedtime routine—one that has become a hot topic for the couple.
"Bedtime is the best time of day," Michelle revealed to Kylie. "My husband teases me about how early I can go to bed. He just doesn't understand. The idea of getting into some good sheets, and it's cool."
The Becoming author added that even when the couple have guests over, she’s still aiming for that early bedtime.
"If we've got people in the house, I'm game, I'm there, I'm up. I'm in it, I'm laughing, I'm talking," Michelle added. "But, you know, the minute we finish up, I'm just trying not to go to bed before the sun goes down."
The attorney has made a string of public appearances lately, many without her husband—an absence she addressed amid burgeoning divorce rumors.
Because no, she and Barack have not broken up. Instead, Michelle has been making decisions for herself since the couple exited the White House in 2017.
"The interesting thing is that, when I say 'no,' for the most part people are like, 'I get it, and I'm okay,'" Michelle shared on the April 9 episode of the Work in Progress with Sophia Bush podcast. "That's the thing that we as women, I think...we struggle with disappointing people. I mean, so much so that this year people were...they couldn't even fathom that I was making a choice for myself that they had to assume that my husband and I are divorcing."
"This couldn't be a grown woman just making a set of decisions for herself, right?" she further explained. "But that's what society does to us. We start actually, finally going, 'What am I doing? Who am I doing this for?' And if it doesn't fit into the sort of stereotype of what people think we should do, then it gets labeled as something negative and horrible."
Instead, Michelle—who shares kids Malia, 26, and Sasha, 23, with Barack—has been thinking about what this next chapter of her life looks like.
"If not now, when? What am I waiting for? How am I going to spend 20 years?" she reflected. "Now is the time for me to start asking myself these hard questions of, 'Who do I truly want to be every day?'"

Eight years after sharing in an ELLE article that she had been battling a rare type of bone cancer—her fake diagnosis even inspiring a storyline on Grey's Anatomy—show writer Elisabeth Finch admitted in December it was all a ruse.
"I told a lie when I was 34 years old and it was the biggest mistake of my life. It just got bigger and bigger and bigger and got buried deeper and deeper inside me," Elisabeth told The Ankler newsletter Dec. 7, adding, "I've never had any form of cancer."
Summed up Finch, who was placed on administrative leave from the ABC medical drama before eventually resigning, said, "What I did was wrong. Not okay. F--ked up. All the words."

Telling The New York Times the lengths she would go to for a more youthful appearance, the reality star cracked that she was willing to try just about anything.
"If you told me that I literally had to eat poop every single day and I would look younger, I might," she said in June. "I just might."
In a July 2022 interview with Allure, Kim said she was "kind of joking" about the comment, though the idea didn't seem too terrible.
