UPDATE: In a message shared to her Instagram Stories June 3, Gracie clarified that she has been “an out-and-proud queer, bisexual woman and wouldn’t have it other way.”
“I have and always will be very vocal about my support of LGBTQIA+ rights,” she added, “and the community.”

Gracie McGraw is embracing her identity.
The eldest daughter of Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, who wed in 1996, celebrated the start of Pride month by sharing a message on social media.
In a post on her Instagram Stories June 2, the 28-year-old shared a graphic reading, “EVERYONE GET MORE GAY NOW!” Alongside the declaration, she wrote, “HAPPY FREAKING PRIDE. I love being queer.”
While Tim and Faith—who are also parents to Maggie, 26, and Audrey, 23—have not commented publicly on Gracie’s post, their close bond with their kids is no secret. In fact, all three of their daughters joined their dad onstage May 31 at the Music City Rodeo in Nashville, where they helped him belt his 2007 song “Last Dollar (Fly Away).”
“My daughters,” Tim said in a video of the performance shared on Instagram by Music Mayhem. “They sang on this record when they were kids!”
Indeed, the song choice was particularly special as the trio provided background vocals on the track’s studio version as children. When the single’s music video began to play onscreen during the number, the sisters became visibly emotional before joining Tim for a group hug.
“They’re all grown up now,” he continued. “My girls!”
In the past, Tim has also shared how raising a family in a household “full of estrogen” has had a positive impact on his life.
"Having a house full of women—and being the kind of guy’s guy that I am, up to doing the things I like to do—sometimes I think myself more macho than I am for sure,” he told Leo in 2021. “But they have made me such a better man. They made me see things in a different way. They taught me so much more about life, about how to be a man.”
