It’s time for the 2025 BET Awards.
Many of the biggest names in entertainment arrived to celebrate the 25th anniversary of culture’s biggest night—which honors music, film, TV and sports—at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles June 9.
Emmy winner Jharrel Jerome arrived sporting a black-and-white ensemble, including a pair of wide-leg, patterned slacks, while American Idol winner Jordin Sparks dazzled in a salmon-colored, long-sleeved dress.
Rapper Bow Wow also walked the red carpet in a white, long-sleeved button down and black slacks. He completed the look with a pair of black Prada loafers and a matching bolo tie.
Another icon that graced the red carpet of the awards ceremony was the evening’s host Kevin Hart—who is also a nominee for Best Actor—who, inspired by his words calling the night “a Black-Tie affair,” wore a black tux and bowtie.
“I love a celebration! It’s a chance to reflect, cherish and honor life’s unforgettable moments,” Hart shared in an April 22 statement to Variety. “I’m truly honored to host the 25th BET Awards and celebrate the culture’s biggest night.”
The event will recognize numerous Black creators and entertainers, including music nominees Kendrick Lamar, who leads the night with 10 nominations, and Doechii, Drake, Future and GloRilla, who each have six.
Following closely behind, The Weeknd and SZA each received four nods, while Teddy Swims, Chris Brown, Lil Wayne and many others earned three nominations.
Movies and TV will also be celebrated, with stars like Zendaya, Cynthia Erivo and Viola Davis vying for Best Actress and Denzel Washington, Colman Domingo and Will Smith up against Hart for Best Actor.
Athletes like Simone Biles, Coco Gauff and Angel Reese are nominated for Sportswoman of the Year, while 2025 Super Bowl winners Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley are up against basketball stars LeBron James and Stephen Curry for Sportsman of the Year.
The 2025 BET Awards will air live tonight, June 9, at 8 p.m. ET on BET. For now, keep reading to see who all showed up and showed out on the red carpet.
