Chris Evans is looking forward to a fantastic four months of summer with Alba Baptista.
The Captain America alum provided a glimpse into his marriage with the Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris actress, revealing that the couple want to keep it low-key as the warmer weather rolls in.
"We're laying low," Chris told E! News in an exclusive interview at the New York premiere of his new movie Materialists. "We're enjoying our time, just relaxing."
And the 43-year-old shared insight into why he and Alba—who tied the knot in September 2023—don't need any over-the-top plans to make their summer special. After all, he had nothing but kind words to say about their relationship.

Another incredible development in the Fantastic Four actor's life as of late? His new movie Materialists, which hits theaters June 13 and also stars Dakota Johnson and Pedro Pascal.
For Chris, stepping into his role as John in the romantic comedy was a no-brainer, considering the story was written by Oscar nominee Celine Song.
"Celine has a way of writing things that are not just deeply personal, but really powerful, especially in their simplicity," the actor explained. "Celine has a way of showing that it doesn't have to have a lot of bells and whistles to kind of be profound and be meaningful."
And while he noted that he "loves rom-coms," Chris also hinted that the film diverges a bit from the genre's usual formula.
"This is kind of a rom-com drama, you know what I mean?" he quipped. "There's more depth to it."
He added, "Most rom-coms have this very idealistic version of what love is, or what it should be, and this has a little bit more of an authentic, grounded feeling, a little less naive, because real love is messy and complicated."
