Katy Perry’s roar is a little far from Italy.
After all, as Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez continue to celebrate their weeklong wedding festivities in Venice June 26, the “Firework” singer is busy lighting up the stage in Australia.
Indeed, Katy—who kicked off her Lifetimes Tour in Mexico City two months ago—has been singing her heart out down under since June 9. After two days in Perth, the singer arrived in Adelaide June 26, where she’s performing for four nights before making it back to the U.S. for her July shows.
Although Katy isn’t living la dolce vita in Venice, Orlando Bloom—whom she had split from after nine years together—did arrive in time for the celebration alongside some more A-listers. In fact, he and Scooter Braun, both dressed in casual shorts and t-shirts, bumped into Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian while grabbing lunch at The Gritti Palace hotel.
That was just the beginning, however, as Orlando—donning a tan suit and a dress shirt with a few undone buttons—later made his way to a water taxi from the hotel.
Although the Pirates of the Caribbean star is attending Jeff and Lauren’s nuptials solo, it isn’t the first time he’s made an appearance alone. The 48-year-old—who shares daughter Daisy, 4, with Katy and son Finn, 14, with ex Miranda Kerr—also attended the red carpet for his new film Deep Cover at the 2025 Tribeca Film Festival and at SXSW London this month on his own.
While Katy—who went to space on the Blue Origin Mission with Lauren—is perfecting her dance moves for the stage right now, she celebrated the upcoming wedding at the journalist’s bachelorette party in Paris. Longtime pals Kris, Kim and Eva Longoria also attended the prime gathering.
"Forever starts with friendship," Lauren wrote on Instagram in May, “surrounded by the women who’ve lifted me up, illuminated my path in dark times, and shaped my heart along the way.”
