Big Brother's season 27 cast is no longer a mystery.
The CBS reality competition series has revealed the 16 housemates who will live together and compete for a chance at winning up to $750,000.
This season, which the network is calling "Big Brother: A Summer Mystery," will welcome contestants from a wide range of backgrounds and professions, including a bull rider, an aura painter, an attorney and a dungeon master. Joining them will be an A.I. consultant, an event curator, a marketing manager and a college sports podcaster, among others.
The hopefuls will soon be locked inside the Hotel Mystere, a newly designed house where "every twist rewrites the rules, and every turn conceals a hidden agenda," according to CBS' description. The season will also introduce "a masked visitor, a secret accomplice and the shocking arrival of a ‘Mystery Houseguest’ whose identity will remain under wraps … at least for now.”
"And if you’re looking to crack the code on the mystery player’s identity," the network teased, "keep your eyes on the official BIG BROTHER Instagram – clues are already hiding in plain sight."
That’s not the only big reveal for season 27—once again hosted by Julie Chen Moonves—as the upcoming installment will also introduce a new segment. Starting July 25, three former houseguests will return every other Friday for Big Brother: Unlocked, where they will break down player strategies and share insider perspectives following their eliminations.
As for Chen Moonves, she’s already teasing the exciting surprises to come, including why the mystery houseguest’s identity will be quite a shock to fans.
“When I was told who this person is, I had to expect the unexpected!" she told Entertainment Weekly in an interview published July 3. "I never expected that person. And I was very excited because, in my opinion, getting that person is epic. And that person is also very polarizing. So, there’s going to be a strong reaction in both directions for this mystery houseguest.”
The Talk alum also teased the secret accomplice is "going to have responsibilities, and they may or may not be able to pull it off, and that will affect the game.”
Keep reading to meet all 16 of the new housemates.
Big Brother season 27 premieres Thursday, July 10, at 8 p.m. on the CBS. Viewers can also catch every unfiltered moment 24 hours a day when the Big Brother Live Feeds open Sunday, July 13, at 9:30 p.m. PT on Paramount+ and Pluto TV.
