Travis Barker's bond with stepdaughter Penelope Disick is no small thing.
The Blink-182 rocker provided an adorable peek into his relationship with wife Kourtney Kardashian's daughter in honor of her 13th birthday.
Travis, 49—who shares son Rocky, 20 months, with Kourtney and son Landon Barker, 21, daughter Alabama Barker, 19, and stepdaughter Atiana De La Hoya, 26, with ex Shanna Moakler—shared a photo on his Instagram Stories July 8 of himself holding Penelope up by her legs as she placed a sticker on a "one way" traffic sign. He wrote over the sweet snap, "Happy birthday P" along with a birthday emoji.
Kourtney—who shares Penelope, Mason, 15, and Reign, 10, with ex Scott Disick—also commemorated her daughter's milestone birthday with a series of sentimental messages reflecting on their relationship as they embarked on a trip abroad together.
"My daughter is 13 today," the 46-year-old wrote on her Instagram Stories July 9 over a photo of pink and white balloons strewn across a hotel room floor. "My heart is exploding with gratitude and love for her."
Kourtney continued to post content from their hotel (none of which included Penelope), in Lake Como, Italy.
"Some cute little birthday moments," she wrote. "I am so incredibly grateful for my sweet girl. She inspires me every day to be a better person."
And while she didn't share any new photos of Penelope, Kourtney did provide a little insight into their dynamic when she posted a video for her vitamin brand Lemme while "a little jet lagged" in the car.
After she stumbled over her words in the intro of the clip, her daughter could be heard off-camera asking her to "restart" the video, after which Kourtney laughed and said, "No, I'm not gonna restart. I'm just gonna do it."
Kris also honored her granddaughter as she entered her teenage years as she reflected on the person she's become.
"My beautiful granddaughter Penelope is officially a teenager,” Kris wrote on Instagram July 8 alongside several photos of her, Kourtney and the birthday girl throughout the years. “I can’t believe you are 13 today!”
“P you are such a smart, strong, confident, kind, fun, and amazing girl,” the 69-year-old continued. “You’re the best daughter, sister, granddaughter, friend, cousin, and niece, and you make all of us so proud every single day. You already have the most amazing sense of style and such a creative spirit.”
“Getting to watch you grow into this amazing young lady has been one of the greatest blessings of my life and being your Grandmother is a gift I cherish every single day,” Kris concluded. “The world is yours my sweet P, and I love you beyond words!!”
