Queer Eye is gearing up for one last round of makeovers.
Netflix announced July 9 that the Emmy-winning reality show's upcoming tenth season, which just started filming in Washington, D.C, will be its last.
Queer Eye, which debuted in 2018, originally starred food expert Antoni Porowski, grooming expert Jonathan Van Ness (JVN), relationship expert Karamo Brown, style expert Tan France and interior design expert Bobby Berk as the show's "Fab Five,” before Brent stepped in to replace Bobby for seasons nine and 10.
"10 seasons. fab five. one last go 'round," the show's official Instagram account captioned a photo of its five stars standing in front of the Lincoln Memorial. "The final season of QUEER EYE is officially in production!"
Throughout its tenure seasons at Netflix, Queer Eye, a revival of Bravo’s mid-aughts series Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, was nominated for a whopping 37 Emmys, winning 11—including six consecutive Outstanding Structured Reality Program trophies.
Members of the "Fab Five" also shared their own reactions to the news that season 10 will be their last.
"Season 10, the final season," Jonathan wrote on Instagram. "We are so excited to bring this season to you, and excited for whats next."
Tan also shared a sentimental message in the wake of the announcement.
"First day of the FINAL season of Queer Eye," he said. "It's been a long, beautiful journey we've been on, and I truly appreciate all of the love and support for our little show, that changed my life in ways I never thought possible."
Tan added, "As we begin out farewell season here on D.C. I simply want to say thank you! Thank you!!!!!"
Meanwhile, Antoni reshared the Queer Eye account's post onto his Instagram Stories and wrote, "Let's make out last one count."
