Wimbledon 2025: Hugh Grant Falls Asleep in Queen Camilla’s Royal Box

“People have been queuing since 3am to get into Wimbledon to have a chance of being able to be at this match or even to watch it on the big screen in the grounds,” one user wrote on X (formerly Twitter). “Hugh Grant slept through the tie break. Frankly, I think it is rude.”

Others found the moment laughable, with BBC Sport commenting in a post, “It's all got a bit too much for Hugh Grant.”

One user simply asked alongside a laughing emoji, “Did Hugh Grant just fall asleep in the Royal Box?” 

Another envisioned the horror that the Brit may have felt upon learning of the viral moment, writing in a post, “Hugh Grant waking up to see he's been caught napping in the Royal Box at Wimbledon…” paired with a gif of the actor in one of his films saying, “Oh, f--k… F--k!”
