Klay Thompson’s glimpse at his new romance is a slam dunk.
The Dallas Mavericks player appeared to confirm rumors that he's dating Megan Thee Stallion while sharing photos from a recent trip to the Bahamas.
In a photo dump posted to Instagram July 12, Klay shared a picture of himself kissing a woman with her back facing the camera in addition to a photo of himself holding hands with a woman who has long purple nails.
The hair and nails of the woman featured in Klay's carousel post matches Megan's hair and nails from some bikini-clad beach photos she shared the following day.
The "WAP" rapper had previously sparked speculation about a romance with Klay with a July 10 Instagram where a man, who bore striking resemblance to Klay, could be seen laying on a pool chair in the background as Megan, 30, posed by the pool in a teeny green bikini.
After the NBA star, 35, seemingly posted a soft launch of their relationship, fellow basketball stars showed their support in the comments.
After Memphis Grizzlies player Ty Jerome commented "whoa hard launch," Klay responded by saying, "I'm al gas no breaks Jerome."
Meanwhile, Kevin Durant commented "THAT BOY." and Klay's former Golden State Warriors teammate Quinn Cook wrote, "There he gooooooo."
Megan had been previously linked to rapper Torey Lanez, who was found guilty in December 2022 on three felony counts related to a 2020 incident during which Lanez shot her in the foot.
While she initially told Gayle King in a 2022 interview that she and Torey's relationship wasn't sexual in nature, she later confessed to lying to the journalist during her 2024 documentary Megan Thee Stallion: In Her Own Words.
The "Savage" hitmaker shared in the doc that she indeed had sex with Torey "like once, maybe twice on a drunk night," admitting that she lied during her interview with Gayle because she found the line of questioning to be irrelevant to the topic at hand, which was the shooting.
Megan also opened up about how she felt as her experience with Torey—who is serving 10 years in prison but has since appealed his convictions—and the resulting global controversy made her feel.
"A lot of people didn't treat me like I was human for a long time," Megan told Women's Health in April 2024. "I feel like everybody was always used to me being the fun and happy party girl. I watched people build me up, tear me down, and be confused about their expectations of me."
