Hulk’s death came as a shock, as just two days prior, his former manager Jimmy Hartshared insight into how the wrestling champ was doing after spending time with Hulk and his son Nick Hogan, 34, at Hogan’s Hangout restaurant.

A month prior, rumors began spreading that Hulk—also dad to Brooke Hogan, 37—was "on his deathbed" following neck fusion surgery his reps had confirmed he’d undergone in May.

However, the chatter was quickly shut down, as a rep told E! News June 18 that there were “no reasons to panic.”

At the time, his rep explained that the Hogan Knows Best star has “had problems with his back” for years, adding that he had recently undergone neck surgery and the procedure “has indeed been successful.”

Furthermore, Hulk—who tied the knot with Sky Daily in 2023 and was previously married to Jennifer McDaniel and Linda Hogan—experienced a slew of health issues over the years, many relating to his history in the ring.

“I’ve had like 25 surgeries in the last 10 years," he told Jake Paul on the IMPAULSIVE podcast in September 2024. “I’ve had 10 back surgeries, both knees and both hips replaced, shoulders—everything.”
