Zayn Malik Shares Rare Look at His and Daughter Khai’s Private World

Zayn Malik’s love of music seems to run in the family.

The One Direction alum took his 4-year-old daughter Khai—whom he shares with ex Gigi Hadid—to see Blackpink’s Deadline World Tour stop in New York City July 27, giving his followers a glimpse of the outing on social media.

“@Blackpinkofficial thank you,” he wrote over a photo of the pair watching the concert in a post on his Instagram Stories. “Me & Khai loved it.”

The photo was taken from behind to shield Khai’s face and maintain her privacy, which the former couple—who ended their romance in October 2021 after dating on-and-off for six years—have made a top priority. In fact, Gigi, 30, previously urged fans and photographers to conceal their child’s face when she appears on camera, noting that she and Zayn, 32, “have never intentionally shared our daughters face on social media.”

“Our wish is that she can choose how to share herself with the world when she comes of age,” the model wrote in an Instagram Stories post at the time, “and that she can live as normal of a childhood as possible, without worrying about a public image that she has not chosen.”
