Ovi Kabir has locked in with his forever housemate.
The Big Brother alum married his longtime love Hannah Blackwell during a two-day ceremony in Sevierville, Tennessee.
Ovi and Hannah—who met during their time at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville—kicked-off their multicultural celebrations Aug. 1 with a Bangladeshi Gaye Holud. The couple wore traditional panjabis and lehengas for the pre-wedding party, per People, which included dancing, music, food, a turmeric blessing ceremony and Mehndi.
The following day, during their Southern-inspired nuptials, the couple officially said “I do” in front of 190 of their closest family and friends including Big Brother alums Kat Dunn, Tommy Bracco, Cliff Hogg and Nicole Fontanez and other notable guests including Synclaire Warren, Avery Rizzotto, Kellye Cash, and more.
For her part, Hannah wore a lace gown with floral details and a custom veil by Wonda Concept. As for Ovi, he kept it timeless in a white coat and black pants by Friar Tux. Adding an extra layer of cuteness, the couple’s dog Mowgli wore a little tux for the occasion.
After the ceremony—officiated by their longtime friend Don Black—the couple celebrated with more dancing and Southern-inspired fares including crispy fried chicken and cornbread and Indian classics such as butter chicken and goat curry. Bringing the sweetness, the desserts included a three-tiered wedding cake and a mix of Indian and Southern treats.
As for tying the knot, Ovi is looking forward to making more memories with his true love.
"I’m most excited to move through life with my best friend by my side,” he told the outlet in an interview published Aug 6. “No matter what comes our way, whether it’s a hard day, an unexpected turn, a new adventure, or just a quiet night on the couch watching bad reality TV, I’ll have Hannah with me through it all. I’m looking forward to building a life filled with love, purpose and a whole lot of laughter together."
For her part, Hannah was excited to share the biggest moment of her life with those who have been there from day one.
"All I want is to keep living the life I’ve been living over the last eight and a half years with Ovi," she added. "It just means so much to finally cement that in front of all of our family and friends and do it in a way that fuses our cultures."
