Watch: Inside Madonna’s 67th Birthday Celebration With Boyfriend Akeem Morris and Her 6 Kids

This material girl is livin’ la dolce vita.

Madonna, who turned 67 on Aug. 16, shared a look at her lavish birthday party in Italy—and fittingly, she celebrated the occasion in symbolic style.

“My dream, for many years, has been to watch the Palio horse race in Siena that takes place on my birthday since 1482!” Madonna wrote on her Aug. 19 Instagram video. “There are no words to describe the excitement, the suspense, and the Pageantry! A truly sacred ritual to witness thousands of people hushed to silence before the race begins!”

Indeed, the “Holiday” singer attended the historic race with her boyfriend Akeem Morris, 28, and her two oldest daughters Lourdes, 26, and Mercy, 19. (She’s also mom to kids Rocco, 25, David, 19, and 12-year-old twins Stella and Estere.)

“The race itself is impossible to describe,” she continued. “Grazie Mille! Dreams do come true! Happy Birthday to me! Ciao Italia!

But that wasn’t the end of her Italian celebration. Besides watching the Palio de Siena, Madonna had dinner with her loved ones, walked around the city, visited an art museum, and gushed over Mercy’s piano skills. However, her biggest gathering happened later that night, where she met up with the rest of her family at the Teatro Grande.

There, the Grammy winner hosted her party filled with fireworks and a large Labubu birthday cake. And after blowing the candles off her doll-inspired dessert, she took a sweet photo with all six of her kids.

Madonna’s celebratory post comes over a week after she honored her other favorite Leo.

“HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROCCO—the long and winding road through all your many moods and incarnations has been tumultuous and full of surprises,” she wrote on her Aug. 11 Instagram tribute. “But through it all—your curiosity, and Artistic Soul has been the glue that has held us together.”

She ended the post by referencing her son’s career as a painter, writing, “Thank God for Art. Thank God for you. We have been together for many lifetimes.”
