Lil Nas X is sharing an update following his arrest.

Hours after he was released from custody after being arraigned by a judge in Los Angeles on charges stemming from a recent arrest in Los Angeles, the “Old Town Road” rapper (born Montero Lamar Hill) spoke out about the incident.

“Your girl is gonna be okay, boo,” Lil Nas said on his Instagram Stories Aug. 26. “Okay? S--t’s gonna be all right.”

And although he reassured fans that he was going to be okay, the 26-year-old went on to admit that the ordeal was quite a scary experience.

“That was f--king terrifying,” he continued. “That was a terrifying last four days. But your girl is gonna be all right.”

During the early hours of Aug. 21, Los Angeles police responded to a report of a “nude man walking in the street” on Ventura Boulevard, per the LAPD, who they later identified as Lil Nas.

In video footage later obtained by TMZ, he appeared to walk down a road wearing only a pair of white cowboy boots and white briefs, occasionally posing and making eye contact with the videographer.

"Upon arrival, the suspect charged at officers and was taken into custody," police told E! News in a statement at the time. "He was transported to a local hospital for a possible overdose and placed under arrest for Battery on a Police Officer."

The Grammy winner has been charged with three felony counts of battery with injury on a police officer and one felony count of resisting an executive officer, according to a news release from the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office, to which he has since pled not guilty.

If convicted, he faces up to five years in state prison, per the release. The “Industry Baby” rapper is due back in court Sept. 15 for a preliminary hearing in the case.

Four days after his arrest, Lil Nas was arraigned by a judge on $75,000 bail and was seen exiting Los Angeles Superior Court in Van Nuys, Calif., wearing a blue inmate uniform and a pair of sandals.

Ahead of his court hearing, his attorney Christy O’Connor alleged that there has been no evidence that any drugs were involved, according to NBC News. She also noted what a “remarkable” life Lil Nas has led thus far.

“Assuming the allegations here are true, this is an absolute aberration in this person’s life,” O’Connor said in court, per the outlet. “Nothing like this has ever happened to him.”

Meanwhile, his father Robert Stafford expressed that his son is “very remorseful for what happened.”

"He’s going to get the help that he needs, and just keep him in your prayers," he continued. "Give him the same grace and mercy that God gives everyone.”
